Thinking about it, there's a tablet version of Dofus: "Dofus Touch". Dofus cost 5€ a month to play but you can buy some subscription time with ingame currency, it's fairly easy to get the right amount.

In Dofus there's only a free zone, but you can go in other zones if you want to see how they look like, but you can't interact with anything. Also, there's a F2P server for Wakfu but not Dofus. I know these things about Wakfu are not bad, but I just enjoy Dofus' system better.

The classic system of Dofus seems right to me, I know exactly how to get to a place quickly (like: 2 left, 1 up and 3 left. With Wakfu you don't have to do that, it's a true open world but it's somehow laggy, sometimes.
When you travel the world, in Dofus it's map after map, you have to click on a side of a map to go to the next. Again, I think it doesn't add much to the gameplay. There's also some random boosts after a few turns but good luck to know what they do before trying. I find this unnecessary and only punishing. With Wakfu, there's a system like "the more you use an ability, the more powerful it gets", it's not the best IMO.ĭuring a fight, in Wakfu you take more damage if your enemy hits you in your back, so don't forget to rotate before ending your turn. With Dofus, you can level up your abilities as you want. Well, it's a matter of taste of course, but I prefer the combat system of Dofus and how we travel around the world.
